California Part II: Lake Tahoe

From San Francisco  JK, the Toyota Prius and I stopped by our friend and assistant winemaker Bertus Van Zyl in the Napa Valley.  Together we tasted wine and had dinner at a wine bar in downtown Napa. The next day we made our way to South Lake Tahoe.  There we found majestic trees and beautiful landscapes covered in snow surrounding us.  No words will ca  explain what we saw and how it made us feel.  We took the cable carts up to the Heavenly Ski Resort to see the lake from the top of the mountain.  Breathtaking.  See for yourself.  Once again, a "wow" moment.
